Terms of Service

saved.md provides tools to publish and share markdown and related content, including optional accounts and versioning features as offered on the site. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Some features require an account. You may sign in with email and password or with Google through our authentication provider (Supabase). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us if you discover unauthorized use.

When you use Google sign-in, your use of Google’s services is also subject to Google’s terms and policies.

Some features let you connect third-party AI clients to yoursaved.md account through MCP or similar integrations. You are responsible for the instructions you give those clients and for activity performed with your account token or authorized connection. Treat MCP tokens like passwords and do not share them publicly.

MCP tools can publish public pages, read pages, list account pages, update account pages by adding versions, and delete account pages. You should review consequential actions before asking an AI client to perform them. Official OAuth-based integrations may be added over time; until then, manual token setup may remain available as a fallback for compatible clients.

You retain ownership of content you submit. By publishing content through the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely to operate, improve, and promote the Service (for example serving pages to visitors at public URLs you choose).

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your content and that it does not violate these Terms or applicable law.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
• Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the Service or other users
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties
• Generate or distribute spam, phishing, or deceptive content at scale
• Attempt to bypass technical limits, security controls, or usage policies stated on the site

We may remove content or suspend access if we reasonably believe you have violated these rules or that continued use creates risk for the Service or others.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE SECURE, RELIABLE, OR FREE OF ERRORS OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE OR OUR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (US $50), IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID US ANY FEES.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You will defend and indemnify us and our affiliates, directors, employees, and agents against any third-party claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we wind down or materially change the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity).

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
